Giovanni Merlino: Scientific Progress in Secondary Stroke Prevention at Udine Stroke Congress 2026
Giovanni Merlino, Head of the SOSD Stroke Unit at the University of Udine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Day 1 of the Udine Stroke Congress 2026 is done, and it was a great success.
A sharp, packed day on the new frontiers of secondary stroke prevention: breakthrough ischemic stroke, GLP-1 receptor agonists, lipid-lowering therapies, anti-FXIa antagonists, the microbiota, and other emerging therapeutic perspectives.
Thanks to all speakers and attendees.
Day 2 tomorrow.
Same drive, more science.”
