Kathrine Kaspersen, Resident Doctor at Department of Clinical Immunology, Aarhus University Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Another fantastic congress at the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT), this year held in Kuala Lumpur.
This year, I had the pleasure of presenting how Denmark has worked towards plasma self-sufficiency.
Denmark has now surpassed 65 percent plasma self-sufficiency, achieved entirely through voluntary, non-remunerated donors.
This is an achievement we can truly be proud of.
A huge thank you to all Danish plasma donors and everyone contributing to this important effort.”
