Working on our review: ‘Current Techniques for Inorganic Polyphosphate Detection and Characterisation’, really pushed us to scrutinise every analytical method out there.
Beyond energy storage, polyP plays dynamic roles in:
- Coagulation and thrombosis
- Inflammation
- Neurodegeneration and cell metabolism
Explaining how to accurately detect and quantify polyP across all these different fields took months of editing.
But resolving reviewer feedback is what turns a good paper into great science.
