Yashaswi Dhiman, Associate Professor at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences , Swami Rama Himalayan University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Our 1st batch of TM residents , and we bag the BEST THESIS AWARD after a rigorous two round evaluation of thesis presentations from different specialities.
Our third year resident Dr Rolika Nautiyal did her thesis on ‘Active hemovigilance and clinical compliance evaluation to advise by a TM expert for preventing recurrences of Adverse transfusion reactions (ATRs)’.
It involved ATR workups and documented Reporting for diagnosis imputability and advice on preventing strategies .
These patients were actively followed up for repeat transfusions , ATR recurrences and Compliance .
Its moments like these we feel absolutely overwhelmed as mentors , guides and teachers and, we teach, treat , learn and grow to serve our purpose as doctors.”
