Toby Richards: Iron Deficiency Beyond Anaemia in Female Triathletes
Toby Richards, Director of The Iron Clinic, Professor of Surgery at University College London, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Iron deficiency is very common even without anaemia here (through our SHINE research program) our team screened athletes at the UK triathlon championships – HALF of wome had iron deficiency- and on questioning most revealed risks and symptoms – if female get tested”
