Scott McInnes: Giving Blood When the Need Is Greater Than Ever
Scott McInnes, Founder and Director at Inspiring Change, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m a pint lighter after I donated blood today with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service in D’Olier Street. I’ve been trying to do it for years but CJD risk from the UK and then my holiday to malarial Kenya last year put pay to that.
I’ve had four texts from them in the past two weeks – they’re really short of blood right now.
If you’ve been thinking about it or just haven’t gotten around to doing it in awhile, please think about doing so – it could really help somebody in their most difficult hours.”
