When evaluating a patient with DVT, the decision to intervene should start with the fundamentals: anatomy, chronicity, symptom burden, and patient risk.
Technology continues to evolve, but good clinical decision-making still starts with understanding the patient and choosing the right strategy for the individual situation.
The goal isn’t simply to remove clot — it’s to make the right treatment decision for the right patient.
