Andrew Jones: Platelet Count Is Only One Dimension of Hemostatic Function

”Very interesting study.
Would be curious to see if there were associated changes in platelet fxn over time too.
With the associated changes in haptoglobin, suggests possible changes in coag fxn.
Plt count is important but only 1 dimension of platelets contribution to hemostasis.”
