Sara Lojo Lendoiro: When Thrombosis in Pregnancy Requires More Than One Specialty

Sara Lojo Lendoiro, Social media Editor at CVIR Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Internal Medicine Review, adding:

”Very pleased to have contributed to this collaborative work addressing the management of thrombosis during pregnancy — a clinical scenario where evidence, expertise and truly multidisciplinary decision-making are essential.

One of the aspects I value most about this project is precisely its collaborative nature: bringing together different specialties and scientific societies around a shared goal — improving the care of women during pregnancy and ensuring the safest and most appropriate management of thrombotic disease.

My sincere thanks to all the co-authors and to the scientific societies involved for their expertise, commitment and willingness to build bridges across disciplines.
