Carly Newton: Every Donation Helps Save Lives
Carly Newton, Sr Manager of Apheresis Clinical Marketing at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today is National Blood Donation Day.
A few weeks ago, I got a head start on celebrating it, I donated blood alongside Joy Duemke at the BET on Blood drive with Versiti Inc. during the National Alliance of Sickle Cell Centers (NASCC) Annual Meeting.
For patients relying on blood-based therapies, donations aren’t just support, they’re the supply chain.
Every unit given helps make treatments like transfusions and cell and gene therapy possible for people who depend on them.
Today’s a good reminder to give if you’re able.
To find a blood center near you, visit.”
