Alessandro Lucchesi: RiseMPN 2026 – Shaping the Future of MPN Treatment
Alessandro Lucchesi, Consultant Hematologist at Romagna Scientific Institute for the Study and Treatment of Cancer (I.R.S.T.) Ltd., shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The programme for RiseMPN 2026 is final, and it is online.
One question runs through both days: can we engineer disease trajectories in MPNs? Not whether a drug works, but which combinations, in which patients, at which moment, can genuinely rewrite the natural history of the disease.
Rome, 6 and 7 November.
Single track, no parallel sessions, because everyone should leave having heard the same arguments.
Ten sessions, two Rise Lectures, two Bridge Lectures and a transatlantic Strategic Dialogue, with more than fifty faculty from across Europe and the United States.
Tiziano Barbui opens the congress on risk as a trajectory rather than a static score.
Giovanni Martinelli asks how to starve a myeloid clone. Between those two poles: mechanism, combination, trajectory.
The call for abstracts closes on 20 October.
The Best Poster Award carries full hospitality for RiseMPN 2027, because young investigators deserve to be brought back rather than thanked once.
Registration is free.
