Pasinee Sangsiwarit: Neutrophil Dysfunction In β-Thalassemia
Pasinee Sangsiwarit, Graduate Student at Khon Kaen University, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
”Excited to share the newly published article!
I’m happy to share that our study, ‘Functional alterations of neutrophils from β-thalassemia patients exposed to Pythium insidiosum: An ex vivo study,’ has been published.
This study investigated neutrophil functional responses in β-thalassemia following exposure to Pythium insidiosum, with a focus on understanding how altered innate immune responses may contribute to susceptibility to infection.
I’m truly grateful to my supervisors, co-authors, and everyone who supported me throughout this research journey. This work has been a valuable learning experience, from experimental work to data analysis and manuscript preparation.
I’m proud to share this milestone and excited for the next steps in my research journey.”
