Emily Bury: Putting Patients at the Centre of VTE Care
Emily Bury, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Thrombosis at St.Vincent’s Healthcare Group, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Ann Marie O’Neill presenting at VTE together today.
She reminded us of the importance of bringing all the pieces of VTE care together – clinicians, the NVTEP, Irish Heart Foundation, policy makers and, most importantly, ‘patients at the centre of everything we do’.
She also highlighted the fantastic work of the Irish Heart Foundation and the support available to people living with thrombosis including a nurse line.
After 12 years of tireless advocacy through Thrombosis Ireland, she truly is a ‘force of nature’ and a powerful voice for patients.”
