Zoltan Nagy: With All Eyes on Optogenetics Today, What Can It Do in Megakaryocytes and Platelets?
Zoltan Nagy, Emmy Noether Group Leader – Experimental Hematology at University Hospital Würzburg, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“With all eyes on optogenetics today, what can it do in megakaryocytes and platelets?
Work from the labs of Markus Bender and Shiqiang Gao shows that optogenetic control of Ca²⁺ signalling can regulate megakaryocyte polarization and platelet function.
An exciting direction for the field, with plenty more to explore.”
