Maha Othman: Celebrating the Opening of The Current at St. Lawrence College
Maha Othman, Co-Chairman SSC on Disseminated intravascular coagulopathy at International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What a wonderful morning at St. Lawrence College!
I was honoured to be invited as a VIP guest to the preview of the grand opening of The Current, our new cafeteria and gathering space at St. Lawrence College.
This is a huge investment in our students and their campus experience.
As a faculty member, I am incredibly proud of this beautiful new space – the comfort, the atmosphere, the thoughtful design, and the welcoming environment are truly impressive. And the coffee, food, and bakery are absolutely amazing!
A heartfelt thank you to Jonathan Hauth President of the Student Association, for championing this work and for sharing the vision and intention behind The Current. Jon, your hard work, vision, and commitment to our students are evident in every detail.
Thanks also to Aly McCaughen SA Executive Director, and the entire team working behind the scenes to make this happen.
This is a space for our SLC community; students and faculty — a place to connect, recharge, enjoy a great meal, or simply take a break.
Congratulations to everyone who made this exciting new space possible!”
