Maria Hadjidemetriou: The Patient Perspective in Thalassemia Care
Maria Hadjidemetriou, Consultant Patient Engagement and Advocacy at Maria Hadjidemetriou, Member Board of Directors at Thalassaemia International Federation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It’s in our Blood is a podcast on Spotify created by two women who have Thalassemia and are moms, Kathy Ra and Laurice Levine.
Having a podcast created by Patients adds a very different perspective on our Rare Disease journey. In this episode, my daughter Julia shares her journey what it is like to be raised by a mom living with the disease.
She reflects on the love she has for Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF) and the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation.
Thank you Kathy and Laurice for having us and creating this wonderful platform where we can be candid about our journey.”
