Ahmad Hazri Mohamed Aris: Strengthening Hemophilia Care and Access to Treatment in Fiji
Ahmad Hazri Mohamed Aris, Regional Manager for Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific at the World Federation of Hemophilia, shared a post on LiknedIn:
“It was a privilege to meet with Hon. Sashi Kiran, Acting Minister for Health and Medical Services, who is also the Minister of Women, Children and Social Protection, and the Ministry of Health and Medical Services task force team in Suva to discuss opportunities to strengthen the treatment and care of people living with Hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders in Fiji.
I am grateful for the warm welcome and for the openness to discuss how we can work together to improve access to care and explore opportunities through the World Federation of Hemophilia programs, especially the Humanitarian Aid Program.
I look forward to continuing this important work with the Fiji Haemophilia Foundation, the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, and other stakeholders in Fiji.
Vinaka vakalevu to Hon. Sashi Kiran and the team for their time and commitment.
And well done Fiji Hemophilia Foundation for your dedication and perseverance!”
