Akhil Antony Konkoth: First Prize for Best Oral Presentation at the Cardiovascular Away Day
Akhil Antony Konkoth, Research Fellow (BHF) in Cardiovascular Sciences at University of Birmingham, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week, I had the opportunity to present my postdoctoral research work at the 76th Annual British Microcirculation And Vascular Biology Society conference, as well as at the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences Away Day at the University of Birmingham.
I presented my work titled ‘Galectin-9 Drives Platelet Activation and Venous Thrombosis.’
I’m delighted to share that I was awarded First Prize for Best Oral Presentation at the Cardiovascular Away Day.
