Akshay Kumar Chopra: 3 Years as a Part of KMC Manipal
Akshay Kumar Chopra, Junior Resident at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, posted on LinkedIn:
”3 years. 1,095 days. 26,280 hours. 15,76,800 minutes.
The period over which I tried my best to make the most of my time and resources here at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, to become a better doctor and human.
To become the best version of my present self.
My learning over the past 3 years cannot be quantified. The true measure of this would be the good work I’m extremely motivated to do here on.
I’ve been beyond blessed with the stalwarts I proudly call my mentors who have guided, supported, motivated and corrected me every step of the way and I hope they me as their student.
My friends for having my back, for pushing my limits and showing me love. I’m a lucky man.
My seniors, for teaching me and leading by example. I look up to all of you.
My colleagues, for being healthy competitors, but also professional and understanding.
My juniors, for challenging me to improve every day and for bringing out the leader in me.
God and the universe for never failing me.
I dedicate my hard work, blood, sweat and tears to achieve this milestone to my family. I do what I do for you and I am who I am because of you.
Time is your most valuable resource. The best investment you can make is that in yourself.
Manipal, you’ve been a dream. I’m ready to step out into the real world and make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Dr Akshay Kumar Chopra”
