“An inspiring improvement story from Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which has applied its improvement approach to increasing the percentage of eligible stroke patients who received thrombolysis.
Really rigorous work – understanding the pathway, standardising, testing new change ideas, using data for learning – which will make a big difference for patients and their families, and has already led to improved staff confidence and patient satisfaction.
