“How does a good conference destroy my ego?

I was part of the organising committee for Transcon 2026 by the Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohaematology (ISBTI), hosted in Kochi, Kerala. I was the lead for a full-day AI workshop and Quiz Master. 4 days of unlimited action.

  • I got to see younger doctors way smarter than me in the quiz.
  • I got to see younger doctors who are more talented and have more potential than me.
  • I got to see my colleagues outperforming my benchmark of excellence.
  • I got to see my seniors work harder than me without sleep or food.
  • I got to see compassion (I got sick in between…!)
  • I got to make mistakes and see it was accepted.
  • I got to see many qualities of leadership without the label of leadership I aspire to.

Man is not an island.

Thank you, everyone.

I have a long way to go.”
