Britta Diebel: Reflections on an Unforgettable International Plasma Awareness Week

“My heart couldn’t be fuller after this year’s International Plasma Awareness Week.

A week filled with meaningful conversations and powerful reminders of why we do what we do: webinars, company visits, donor-patient meet & greets, media work, all helping to raise awareness for the life-changing impact of plasma at Haema Blut and Plasma.

I fortunately closed IPAW in Milan, where, together with Marilena Vrana / Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA) , we brought together donors and patients throughout the GBS CIDP Congress of the GBS|CIDP Foundation International.

Thanks to Pauline Meßner and Michell Solangel Morales for being brave panel talkers and plasma donors.

Thanks to Nancy Di Salvo for just being an amazing advocate and host.

Seeing first-hand the connection between those who donate plasma and those whose lives depend on plasma-derived therapies was truly inspiring.

Alexandra Kessmeyer, you are a wise person, ‘Without you, there is no we’.
