David McIntosh: A Medico-Scientific Challenge
David McIntosh, Founder and Chair of United Plasma Action, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”A Medico-Scientific Challenge …
Following on from the recent UPA ‘Reflections’ post, it occurs to me that some friends and colleagues – and even perhaps some argumentative adversaries – might like to rise to a little challenge ……
It is this -please try to draft the most convincing explanation you can think of as to why the licensed plasma-derived medicines listed in black in the attached document are NOT safe to make from UK donors’ plasma along with a parallel explanation/justification as to why the medicines shown in green ARE safe to make from our plasma.
I admit that in scientific terms, this is almost certainly a genuinely impossible task; but as a challenge in satirical script-writing it’s surely well worth a try ….”
