David McIntosh: Calling On Decision-Makers to Prioritize Donors and Clinical Access During IPAW 2026
David McIntosh, Founder and Chair of United Plasma Action, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“International Plasma Awareness Week 2026
As this important event unfolds, it may be helpful to remind ourselves of how much there is to ‘The Power of Plasma’.
For many patients, carers and clinicians the range of clinical applications will not be a surprise.
For donors, it’s a vivid reminder of how very valuable their donations are.
For decision-makers in Healthcare and in Politics, it’s a stark reminder of how much most countries are missing by not having ample supplies of all of these.”
