Hermine Sayiyan: Dreams Do Come True – Often When We Least Expect Them
Hermine Sayiyan, Resident Physician at Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, Content Editor at Hemostasis Today, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Dreams do come true—often when we least expect them.
These past few days have been truly unforgettable, filled with incredible emotions, unexpected moments, inspiring science, and, above all, wonderful people.
I am grateful to share that our abstract, ‘Congenital Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura with Chronic Kidney Disease in a Pediatric Patient:
A Rare and Prolonged Clinical Course’ was presented as a Poster Presentation at the ISTH 2026 Congress.
This experience reminded me that behind every achievement is a team. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout this journey—my colleagues, mentors, and the organizations that made this opportunity possible.
My deepest gratitude goes to my supervisor, Dr. Heghine Khachatryan. Your guidance, trust, and unwavering support made this achievement possible. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.
I return home with new knowledge, new connections, and even greater motivation to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the field of hematology.
Thank you, ISTH Congress 2026, for an unforgettable experience.”
