Jennifer Holter Chakrabarty: Supporting the Next Generation of Hematology Researchers
Jennifer Holter Chakrabarty, Professor at Stephenson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”At the American Society of Hematology, we dream of a day when there is a cure for every blood disease.
Today, that dream is at risk as federal actions threaten hematology research and patient care.
There has never been a more critical moment in science to stand up for our young investigators – the minds who will discover the cures our patients are waiting for.
If we fail to support them now, we don’t just slow progress; we lose ground, momentum, and lives.
I’m teaming up with the ASH Foundation to help bridge funding gaps so scientists and clinicians can continue their life-saving work.
Please consider making a donation to help fund additional ASH Awards for Research Careers in Hematology (ARCH), which succeeds the Bridge Grant.
This independent award supports early-career investigators at a time when NIH funding is increasingly restricted, helping them pursue the discoveries patients urgently need.
When you give to the ASH Foundation, 100% of your donation directly supports ASH programs and advances ASH’s mission to help hematologists conquer blood disease worldwide.
The future of hematology is being written now, and it depends on bold investment, belief, and action.”
