José Antonio García Erce Made His 7th Donation of Plasmaferesis: Anything Better Than Doing for Others?
José Antonio García Erce, Director of the Donation Center, Navarre Health Service (Osasunbidea), posted on LinkedIn:
“PLASMAPHERESIS FOR CHRISTMAS. Anything better than doing for others?
‘Deeds and not words’
Today I have made my seventh (7) donation of plasmaferesis, the thirty (30) consecutive of 37 donations made in Navarre.

Since January we have had 5308 apheresis in Navarre (5468 in twelve months), 22% of all allogeneic donations. We have already had 4145 plasmapheresis (4259 in twelve months, on the way to 4500).
We have already shipped in 2025 a total of 7634.5 L to Grifols (11.2 L/1000 inhabitants) (7898.7 L in twelve months vs 5345 in 2016).
Many to the great professionals of the BSTN, to ADONA and to all the donors of Navarra
We have a long way to go to reach autosuficiencia, almost impossible with the current model in the short and medium term.”
