Kambua Manundu: We Walked to Protest the Countless Lives of Women We Have Lost to Post Partum Hemorrhage
Kambua Manundu, Gender Justice Champion at Equality Now, shared on LinkedIn:
”This morning we gathered at Ulinzi Sports complex to run for our mothers.
The End PPH run brought together men and women, boys and girls from all walks of life.
We walked to sound an alarm.
We walked to protest the countless lives of women we have lost to Post Partum Hemorrhage.
We walked to say that women should not be dying of preventable conditions during childbirth.
One life lost, is too many”
