Li Khim Kwah: Proud for the Development of The New Singapore Stroke Rehabilitation Guideline
Li Khim Kwah, Senior Principal Physiotherapist at Singapore General Hospital, resposted from Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) on LinkedIn:
”Proud to have co-led the development of the new Singapore Stroke Rehabilitation Guideline alongside Shamala Thilarajah and the CAHOO team.
This was truly a collective effort, and I’m grateful to all colleagues, partners, advisors, stroke survivors and caregivers who contributed their time, expertise, and insights to strengthen post-stroke rehabilitation care in Singapore.
As the needs of stroke survivors continue to grow, having a shared evidence-based approach is more important than ever.
Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this to fruition and to Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) for the ‘Guidelines for Guidelines (G4G)’ endorsement of the guidelines.
We look forward to teams carrying the guideline forward in practice.
Do take a look at the guideline, implementation toolkit and accompanying video.”
Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) shared a post on LinkedIn:
”The new Singapore Stroke Rehabilitation Clinical Guideline and accompanying implementation toolkit are now available on the ACE Repository for Clinical Guidelines (ARCG).
Developed by the Community Rehabilitation Transformation Workgroup, the guideline provides recommendations on secondary prevention, rehabilitation, managing complications, discharge planning and long-term care, including re-integration back into the community. It supports a shared starting point on the latest evidence to guide healthcare professionals across all sectors—hospital, community care, rehabilitation centres and primary care – to ensure consistent, high quality stroke rehabilitation care
Download the guideline on ARCG now!
Methodologically validated by ACE, the guideline bears the Guidelines for Guidelines (G4G) official seal, meeting all nine G4G standards for high-quality evidence-based guidelines.
Interested in having your guideline methodologically validated and featured on ARCG as well?
