Maria Symiakaki: Advancing Cardiovascular Prevention at the 2026 Congress of the European Atherosclerosis Society
Maria Symiakaki, Co-Founder and Public Affairs Business Development Director at Solutions for Rare Diseases (SfRD), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Happy to attend the 2026 Congress of the European Atherosclerosis Society.
It was an excellent opportunity for global leaders in lipidology and preventive cardiology to reconnect, exchange ideas, and explore the future of cardiovascular prevention and lipid management.
Key highlights included the release of the new EAS consensus on pediatric familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), as well as advances in global lipid clinic networks.
Importantly, patient voices continue to play a central role in shaping cardiovascular health policy and care pathways across Europe.”
