Miikka Vikkula: Key Insights from the ISSVA 2026 World Congress
Miikka Vikkula, Vice President at International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“An exciting ISSVA 2026 World Congress in Philadelphia.
Over 100 oral presentations covering all types of vascular anomalies, numerous posters, and intense discussions during sessions, breaks, poster walks and sponsored sessions.
A great keynote by Taija Makinen.
A touching tribute to the late founder of ISSVA, John Mulliken, underscoring his message for curiosity, accuracy, compassion, and collaboration. Couldn’t be better for this focused, collegial, international and interdisciplinary field, developing so quickly.
VASCERN and VASCA also importantly present.
We are already looking forward to the ISSVA Debates, Dublin from 5 to 7 May 2027.”
