Muntadhar Al Moosawi: A Tribute to the Compassion and Generosity of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Blood Donors
Muntadhar Al Moosawi, Consultant Hematopathology and Head of Transfusion Services and Coagulation Laboratory, shared on LinkedIn:
”At Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) and the Transfusion Medicine Working Group EMA, we proudly came together to celebrate and honour our blood donors on Blood Donor Appreciation Day.
Every donation represents a quiet act of generosity that reaches far beyond the donor — sustaining patients through surgery, trauma, childbirth, and the daily fight against illness.
Today we recognize not only the units collected, but the compassion behind each one: the willingness to give a part of oneself so that a stranger might live.
To our donors, your selflessness is the heartbeat of our transfusion service, and your contribution is a gift of life that we deeply value and gratefully acknowledge.”
