Nandini Pethe: Microhealth Can Be as Simple as Logging Treatments and Bleeds
Nandini Pethe, Community Digital Advocate at Microhealth (digital hematology), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It’s more than tracking if you want it to be.
Microhealth can be as simple as logging your treatments and bleeds.
But it can also be so much more:
- A symptom logger – capture symptoms with pictures and notes. Record how they affect your everyday life, giving you something concrete to discuss with your care provider.
- A record of your treatment journey – see patterns over time that may help inform conversations about starting a treatment, changing treatment, or making the case for staying on the treatment that’s working for you.
- Opportunities to participate – opt in to research, clinical trials, studies and surveys when available.
- A connection to your care team – opt in to monitoring and share what you’re experiencing between visits.
- Resources at your fingertips – find information related to your treatment and product.
Because sometimes, ‘I don’t feel good’ is hard to explain. Records show the big picture.
