Natalie L. Baggio: A 24/7 Neurointerventional Stroke Care at Corewell Health Is Now a Reality
Natalie L. Baggio, President at Corewell Health South, shared on LinkedIn:
”Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States has a stroke, and for a long time, patients in Southwest Michigan had to travel hours away to access the most advanced care when those seconds were counting down.
That’s changing.
In the latest episode of Core Conversations, I sat down with Dr. Amrinder Singh to talk about something I’m incredibly proud of, the Neurointerventional Program at Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan, and what it means to now have 24/7 advanced stroke care right here, in our own community.
We talked about:
- What to watch for when a stroke happens
- Why every single moment matters in those critical hours
- How this program is helping patients recover faster and come home sooner
This is the kind of care that changes outcomes, and more importantly, it’s the kind of care that keeps families together.
Whether you’re a patient, a caregiver, or simply someone who loves this community, this episode could help save a life.”
