Antoine Francis – At Global Plasma Supply, We Refuse to Accept Waste or Complacency!
Antoine Francis, Founder of Global Plasma Supply LTD, has shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Today is Apheresis Awareness Day.
For me, this is more than a date on the calendar. It’s the story of my entire career.
I’ve stood behind centrifuges, I’ve monitored separators, I’ve seen whole blood turn into its life-saving components — plasma, red cells, platelets — and I’ve watched patients receive what they desperately need because someone chose to donate.
From the earliest days of manual separation to today’s advanced automated apheresis systems, one truth has never changed: plasma saves lives. And yet, the world still wastes far too much of it.
At Global Plasma Supply (GPS), we refuse to accept waste or complacency.
Recovered plasma and source plasma together form a supply chain that strengthens immunoglobulin therapies and extends beyond IgG into every fractionation product patients depend on.
To those who think plasma is just a by-product, you are wrong.
Plasma is the lifeline.
To those who think innovation can wait, patients cannot.
I have lived this science my whole career. I will continue to fight for every litre, every donor, every life.
On this day, I choose to remind the world:
ALWAYS think DONATION. ALWAYS think LIFE”’
