Stacey Black Watson: A Meaningful Gathering Focused on Genetic Aortic and Vascular Conditions
Stacey Black Watson, Director of Loeys-Dietz and Marfan Programs at the The Marfan Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m grateful to have attended the Heritable Aortic Disorders Symposium in Vancouver on behalf of the The Marfan Foundation alongside my amazing colleague, Eileen.
The first day of the conference focused on CME programming for medical professionals, highlighting exciting innovation and real promise for individuals living with genetic aortic and vascular conditions.
The second day centered on connection and community – and the spirit of collaboration and shared commitment to supporting patients and families was truly palpable.
I was also thrilled to finally meet, in person, some of the brightest minds in research and healthcare working in this space.
A heartfelt thank you to Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation Canada and Genetic Aortic Disorders Association for organizing such an impactful and inspiring program.”
