Vinicius Fornazari: New Perspectives In Interventional Radiology From SOBRICE
Vinicius Fornazari, Interventional Radiology Physician and Associate Professor at University of Florida, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Once again at SOBRICE – Sociedade Brasileira de Radiologia Intervencionista e Cirurgia Endovascular (Brazilian Society of Interventional Radiology and Endovascular Surgery)!
This year, Latin America’s largest Interventional Radiology congress brought together 1,700 participants. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with dear friends, learn, and exchange ideas about advances in our specialty.
I was delighted to speak in sessions on deep vein thrombosis, cancer pain, and pelvic venous disorders, and to moderate a session on cholangioscopy.
The clinical discussions and exchange of experiences with colleagues were also especially meaningful, including Thiago F. Nunes, Túlio Fabiano de Oliveira Leite, Patrick Metzger, Marcus Cury, Bruno Freitas, Kirema Garcia-Reyes, Belarmino Gonçalves, Marcelo Guimaraes, and Hector Tapia González.
I was also honored to have a conversation with Tiago Bilhim , Editor-in-Chief of CVIR, about technical and scientific perspectives in Interventional Radiology. And always with my close friends Renato Abu Hana, and Leandro Cardarelli Leite.
We also celebrated one of our group’s papers being recognized as Best Non-Oncologic Percutaneous Intervention in the Clinical and Experimental Trial category.
The work was presented by INRAD resident Gabriel Franchi De Santi. Congratulations to Gabriel and everyone involved!
At this year’s congress, I also had the honor of representing UF Health Radiology and sharing some of the experience we have developed there.
Thank you to SOBRICE and everyone who made these moments possible. We keep learning, sharing, and moving our specialty forward together!”
