Virginia Silvari: Privilege to Take Part In the 3rd Antithrombotic Stewardship Summit by ISTH and Anticoagulation Forum
Virginia Silvari, Chief II Pharmacist- Education and Research at Health Service Executive, shared on LinkedIn:
”What a privilege to take part in the 3rd Antithrombotic Stewardship Summit, jointly organised by the Anticoagulation Forum and International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH)!
Huge thanks to Vivien Tham for being such a brilliant co-presenter, and to Tara Lech, PharmD, CACP and Nibal Chamoun, PharmD,BCPS,CACP for steering the discussion so thoughtfully of our session:
Early adopters- Experiences of International Centers of Excellence.
We shared how stewardship models can move beyond individual hospitals to shape national practice, drawing on lessons from Ireland’s and Singapore’s antithrombotic stewardship landscape.
It was energising to be in Paris in a room with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses and researchers from around the world, all pushing the same goal forward: safer, smarter antithrombotic care for patients.
Thanks to the Anticoagulation Forum and International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) for creating this great platform for global exchange.”
