WFH Strengthens Collaboration to Advance Hemophilia Care in Paraguay
World Federation of Hemophilia shared a post on LinkedIn:
”During the latest World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) visit to Paraguay, Andreina Tovar, Head of Global Development, WFH, and Carolina Cortes Held, Regional Manager for South America, WFH, met with the Minister and Vice Minister of Health, other national health authorities, members of Congress and representatives of United Association of People with Hemophilia of Paraguay (ASOHEMO), the WFH national member organization.
Participants reviewed advances under the PACT program and discussed future collaboration to strengthen diagnosis, treatment and comprehensive care for people with hemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders.
The WFH also thanked the government of Paraguay for co-sponsoring the World Health Assembly resolution on advancing health equity for people with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders worldwide.”
