”I am very grateful to have given my first conference oral presentation at the 2026 Canadian Society for Transfusion Medicine Annual Conference in Hamilton.
I presented one of my PhD research project on targeting human CD44 as a potential plasma-independent alternative to IVIg in immune thrombocytopenia.
This was a meaningful milestone for me as my first oral presentation at a conference.
I really appreciated the opportunity to share my work, receive thoughtful questions, and connect with the transfusion medicine community.
A huge thank you to my supervisor Dr. Alan H. Lazarus, my mentor Alequis Pavon Oro, my supportive lab members, the vivarium staff, the research core facilities at the Keenan Research Centre for Biomedical Science and my thesis advisory committee members.
