“Superficial vein thrombosis is a clinically significant venous thromboembolic disorder, where limited trial data and sparse guidelines leave important gaps in care. Excited to share our JAMA review, which provides practical guidance for clinicians and patients navigating the challenges of superficial vein thrombosis. Inspired by my MBS thesis at Tufts University School of Medicine, this project has been an extraordinary journey, guided by the mentorship of Dr. Gregory Piazza and Dr. Behnood Bikdeli and supported by an amazing team.”
