Frederik Denorme – The New PI at the Laboratory of Cell Biology and Histology at University of Antwerp
Frederik Denorme, Tenure Track Assistant Professor at University of Antwerp, shared on LinkedIn:
”After seven incredible years in the US, my family and I have made the decision to move back to Belgium.
Last week marked the beginning of my new role as a PI at the Laboratory of Cell Biology and Histology at University of Antwerp.
In this position, I will be merging my translational stroke research line with the group’s extensive expertise in Neurobiology, Imaging, and Infectious diseases.
Reflecting on this transition, I am filled with both excitement for the future and gratitude for my time in the US.
During my journey, I had the privilege to meet and collaborate with numerous brilliant scientists.
I am particularly thankful to my mentors Robert Campbell, Jennifer Juhl Majersik, Matthew Rondina, Paul Bray and Adeoye Opeolu, whose guidance was instrumental in shaping my research endeavors at University of Utah and later at Washington University in St. Louis.”
