A stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is suddenly interrupted — either by a blockage or bleeding — depriving brain cells of oxygen and nutrients.
Recognizing the early warning signs is critical and can be life-saving.
The FAST method remains one of the most effective tools for early detection.
Raising awareness is the first step toward prevention and better outcomes.”
