Paula Boldo on Sex-Stratified Genetic Risk of Stroke at WSC 2025
Paula Boldo, PhD student in IR Sant Pau, shared on LinkedIn:
”Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to give an oral presentation at the World Stroke Organization 2025, where I shared part of my PhD research.
In my talk, “Sex-Stratified Genetic Risk of Stroke: Findings from an X-chromosome-wide association study,” I presented how X-linked genetic variants may influence stroke risk differently in men and women.
It was an honor to be part of such an inspiring event and to exchange ideas with researchers from around the world.”
