Stephen Cornelissen on 20th Strategic Blood Forum from Australian Red Cross Lifeblood
Stephen Cornelissen, CEO of Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, shared on LinkedIn:
”It was wonderful to come together this week with global and local experts from government, clinical practice, industry, and the community for the 20th Strategic Blood Forum, hosted by Australian Red Cross Lifeblood.
The Forum provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge and explore global trends in blood product supply, demand, policy, and innovation and consider their relevance to Australia. At Lifeblood, we are committed to driving meaningful change for the health and wellbeing of Australians today, tomorrow and well into the future.
A special thank you to our ambassador Michael Klim for sharing his insights as a recipient of the plasma derived product IVIg, along with his partner Michelle who also presented.
Demand is growing for this product, and we are grateful for all our plasma donors.”
