New Evidence Supports Chromogenic Assays After Hemophilia A Gene Therapy – JTH
Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared on LinkedIn about a recent article by Flora Peyvandi et al, adding:
”Correlation between Factor VIII chromogenic activity and antigen levels in patients treated with adeno-associated virus 5-mediated gene therapy for hemophilia A
In four patients with severe hemophilia A, FVIII antigen levels closely matched chromogenic assay results after gene therapy, supporting it as the preferred monitoring method.”
