Imran Shahid: Morphological Assessment in the Differentiation of True and Pseudothrombocytopenia
Imran Shahid, Hematologist, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored JHWCR, published in, adding:
“I am grateful to share that our research article, ‘Distinguishing True Thrombocytopenia from Pseudothrombocytopenia: Insights from Platelet Aggregation and Morphological Features,’ has been officially published in the Journal of Health, Wellness and Community Research (JHWCR).
This study emphasizes the importance of peripheral smear review and manual platelet verification in accurately differentiating true thrombocytopenia from pseudothrombocytopenia.
I sincerely thank our Chief of Pathology Prof. Ayaz Lone, co-authors and mentors for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this journey. Looking forward to contributing further to the field of hematology.”
