Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Elizabeth Ryan et al., adding:
“Frailty assessment in people with hemophilia
A UK Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre reviewed Clinical Frailty Scale scores in 111 persons with hemophilia aged ≥50. Frailty (CFS ≥4) was present in 24% overall — 18% at 50-64 years and 33% at ≥65, against roughly 10% in the general UK population aged ≥65. Multimorbidity (100%), polypharmacy (78%) and hemophilic arthropathy featured prominently.”
