Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Jamal Elhasnaoui et al. published in JTH, adding:
“Nuclear molecular imaging of venous thromboembolism: targeting clot-specific molecular components for improved diagnosis and management
Today’s clot imaging shows structure and perfusion but little about clot biology. This review surveys nuclear molecular imaging that targets clot-specific components, using PET to read molecular processes in living tissue.
Paired with high-throughput methods, such approaches could yield precision imaging biomarkers and move venous thromboembolism care toward molecularly informed diagnosis and treatment.”
