Marc Carrier: Advancing Catheter-Related Thrombosis Prevention Through Factor XI Inhibition
Marc Carrier, Professor at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Jeffrey Zwicker et al, published in The Lancet Haematology, adding:
“ROXI-CATH: targeting factor XI to prevent catheter-related thrombosis.
Presented at AHA26 and now published in The Lancet Haematology, this phase 2 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluates amrecibart and cenvacibart for thromboprophylaxis following PICC placement, an important clinical challenge.
Looking forward to seeing how this research advances catheter-related thrombosis prevention.”
